Every meeting is divided into two parts. The first half includes Table Topics and prepared speeches and the second half is mainly evaluations and feedback.

In the break between the two parts we have dinner, talk and get to know each other better.

Oh, and drinks are important (but not compulsory) for Toastmasters as well. The meeting usually starts with a toast of the evening.

Evaluation is the chance to get helpful, honest and appropriate feedback from an experienced member who understands what you are going through.

Don´t worry, all members get the opportunity to be evaluated or to evaluate others.

  1. What is the difference between HTM and a debating club?

In Toastmaster clubs the emphasis is on the speaker – not on

            debating  points

At HTM everyone is a winner:

  • You get friendly and helpful evaluations of your work
  • You meet nice people who want to practise their English.
